The Story behind the Piece: I wanted to portray how the mountains teem with life in the night-time and is anything but still. I wanted to use more color and patterns to depict sounds and movement. By adding something out of the ordinary I aim to attach it to something beyond what we can see. Vibrant colors used on canvas to emphasize sharp lines and bring fun color to a home space or office. Pairs so well with other art pieces and furniture. Pouring paint medium used to emphasize fluidity. Be it water or skies, it is never still, always going forward- a concept that the pour captures.
DIMs: 36" width x 24"height x 1" depth including frame.
Framing: Hand-Made Pine frames stained with Dark Walnut color.
Mediums used: Acrylic on Canvas and I used Acrylic with a pouring medium to create the fluidity that you can see in the skies. I added various layering to contrast colors on this piece.
