The Story behind the Piece: Sometimes I feel that painting isn't enough to really capture the beauty of nature. I wanted to really bring out the details by tracing and shading in my subjects with a pyrography pen and then layer on color to capture the feeling and presence of a mountain range. These ones are the Three Sisters, with the Deschutes River running through it. The lines from the Wood Burn create emphasis on the detailing of rugged lines. Original wood burned art set to make a difference in a home space or office. Pairs so well with other art pieces and furniture.
