The Story behind the Piece: From the glowing sun during smokey days. Recently here in Bend, Oregon we've experienced quite a bit of wild fires this summer. Although it is scary not knowing the damage they can inflict, I can't help but admire the neon colors that reflects off the sun. Bright oranges and pinks depending on the smoke. Makes something beautiful during something not so beautiful.
