Morning Dew Original Painting

Story behind the Piece: Using refreshing, fruity colors I aim to bring the feeling of an early morning to this painting. The dew is fresh, and the sun is fueling life up for a new day! I wanted to capture the smell that only exists between those early morning hours by layering the portrait onto a light coral sky. The acrylic pour coming down from the top in various colors represent all the possibilities that come forth a new day. Vibrant colors used on canvas to emphasize sharp lines and bring fun color to a home space or office. Pairs so well with other art pieces and furniture. Pouring paint medium used to emphasize fluidity. Be it water or skies, it is never still, always going forward- a concept that the pour captures.

DIMs: 16" width x 20"height x 2" depth including frame.

Framing: Hand-made Pine frames stained with Natural wood color.

Medium used: Acrylic on Canvas and I used Acrylic with a pouring medium to create the fluidity that you can see in the skies. I added various layering to contrast colors on this piece. I also use Iridescent colors that may flicker in certain lights. It's very subtle though :)
