Among the Wildflowers Original Wood Burn Painting

The Story behind the Piece: This Piece was inspired by Alpine wildflowers. The strength and impressive fight to survive in such harsh conditions is inspiring to me beyond the beauty. Wildflowers add so much wonder to the landscape and the color of them are so vibrant I wanted to capture a field of them in front of Mt Rainier. To stop in a meadow and marvel. The lines from the Wood Burn create emphasis on the detailing of rugged lines. Original wood burned art set to make a difference in a home space or office. Pairs so well with other art pieces and furniture.

DIMs: 17" width x 17 3/4th "height x 2" depth including frame.

Framing: Hand-made Pine frames stained with Dark Walnut wood color.

Mediums used: Wood burned drawing and shading on Birch and acrylic painting to create a multi-dimensional effect when looking at the piece head on. I also used watercolor to create a faded look so that I did not overshadow the wood grain.
